Services
The Allied Health Network deliver a number of services to Allied health staff. These are listed below:
Conference
The Allied Health Network co ordinates a conference which is held within the region. While bringing new information into the region this conference also gives regional Allied Health the opportunity to showcase their service. The conference is subsidised by the Network to make this professional development opportunity more accessible for staff. The Network also recognises the extra time and financial cost required by staff who live in remote areas. A travel subsidy is provided for those staff within the region who qualify.
Newsletter
A bi monthly newsletter is produced which has interesting articles about courses attended, local and external service organisations.
The Newsletter also contains information from the network and other various information relevant to Allied Health staff within the Loddon Mallee Region.
Allied Health Staff are encouraged to submit articles for publication.
Website
The website has been developed with the aim to provide Allied Health with accessible information about professional development opportunities, positions vacant and other information relevant to Allied Health.
The message board allows Allied Health to post clinical or professional questions and receive replies. The aim is to assist knowledge sharing and problem solving. Some areas are password protected to prevent the misuse of these facilities by others. An online search of an allied health database is also password protected and available to members.
